Lithium-ion polymer battery is abbrieviated as Li-polymer battery, LiPO, Li-poly battery, which belongs to a family of Li-ion rechargeable batteries. Unlike cylindrical type, Li-polymer battery uses polymer separator and solid polymer electrolyte such as polyethylene oxide or polyacrylonitrile. Compared with cyclindrical Li-ion cells, Li-ion polymer battery cells are flat, hence gets more flexible design, more compact in the actual application. In order to meet different needs, in China, LiCoO2, LiMn2O4 and Li(NiCoMn)O2 is used as the cathode materials of Li-polymer battery. According to the energy density, LiCoO2 polymer is higher than the other 2 chemistries.

5) Because of its flat shape, this battery has much more models than cylindrical Li-ion cells.
Except standard Li-ion polymer battery for ordinary application, Rona is also pround of supplying excellent high rate drain battery for electric tools, model airplane, racing cars & trucks etc. The maximum discharge rate can meet up to 60 C-rate.
